February Sowing
Under cover: (cloches, cold frames, polytunnel & unheated greenhouses – you may well need fleece for the cold nights for extra protection).  A window sill is fine but plants can get a bit leggy before the weather is ready for them to be planted out so wait towards the end of the month or even next month!

Beetroot, 
Broad Beans, 
Broccoli Raab
Brussels Sprouts, 
Cabbage, 
Carrots
Florence Fennel (Finale), 
Kale
Leaf Beet Perpetual Spinach, 
Leeks,
Lettuce
Onions & Spring Onions,

Peas (hardy and early ones in mild areas)

For leafy salads grow as cut-&-come-again

Cress,
Chicory (sugar loaf), 
corn salad, 
endive, 
komatsuna, 
lettuce, 
kale, 
mizuna, 
rocket, 
senposai, 
orache, 
pak choi


 Outsidebut only in mild areas in mild weather
Broad Beans, 
Kohl Rabi, 
Peas,

Spinach


In the warmthsuch as a window sill or heated greenhouse:

Globe Artichokes, 
Asparagus, 
Aubergine
Broccoli,
Cauliflowers,
